HGV Technician

1. Our fleet team are the first authority in Wales to achieve DVSA Earned Recognition status, and only the 3rd in the UK
2. You'll work as part of the team maintaining the roadworthiness of the authorities vehicle and plant fleet.
3. You should have a relevant work experience - minimum NVQ level 3 in motor vehicle repair.

About you:

• Relevant work experience - minimum NVQ level 3 in motor vehicle repair
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Problem solving and technical knowledge
• Adaptability
• Ideally hold a HGV driving licence
• IT and diagnostic Knowledge is a bonus

What you will do:

• Service, maintain and repair the authorities fleet of vehicles and plant.
• Under take PMI's at the scheduled intervals
• Prepare vehicles for MOT
• On-site breakdowns and repair
• Be part of an on call rota during from October - May
